I can't see any good reason why they would do that unless they have a system to allocate the applications to adjudicating staff by State or by Region. Do the Chinese cite any reasons why they feel that way?

Right now they have not even done with July 2nd filers.
Also ppl whose applications have been transfered have not got any receipts.
About the 17th July, i think we should be atleast looking for minimum 15-20 business days.
I will request you to please concentrate on the September Rally. It will bring relief for all of us.

I just registered but I have been reading the forums a long time.
This is bad news about July visa bulletin being changed. I'm sorry for everybody who had bad news.
I think maybe it is bad news for me too.
I was waiting for interview letter, my PD is March 2006 but I am going thru consular processing. I have I140 approved since February 2006.
I have 'case complete' and was waiting for packet 4.
I don't know what this all means for me now.

Program is the name of your main application's class itself. What I am doing is creating an instance of my application and using the two methods that live inside that class.

I just got my H1 visa. As my understanding that they will stamp my passport at the port of entry, I wonder if they will keep my current I-797 at the port of entry (I already have the H1 stamp in my passport). Pls advise. Also, I don�t have the bottom portion of the I-94 on I-797 since I am currently in Malaysia . Would this be a problem? Please also advise if they will issue me the new I-94 at the port of entry. Anybody pls help. Thank you very much.

Guys. Is this 7% country limit a hard or soft one ?. Assuming 1,40,000 total immigrant visas, India would get 7% of it and that is 9800. Then you have the preference category. Assuming there are unused immigrant visas from other countries, how do they get allocated ?. Does anyone has clear idea ?.

Dear All,
1. I was on H1B with company A from Januray 2003 to January 2008.
2. I am on L1A with company A from February 2008 which is valid till December 2010 (my 7 year limit on L1A ends by December 2010).
3. My Labor is applied in October, 2009 by company B.
If my labor is approved or labor pending for 1 year, can I reactivate my old H1B with company B and start working with them.
Please advise. Mr. Dhoni

Good that the GOP nominee for the Senate in California is taking a centrist position, but its annoying to hear about being opposed to amnesty. So is just about everyone who favors comprehensive immigration reform. The question is not whether you're against legalizing people and not punishing their behavior. Just wanted to remind members we only have 4 days left until the deadline for the letter campaign for Administration Fixes!!! Please print out some copies of the template # 1 for example, and collect signatures and addresses from your friends and colleagues. They will support you and their signature can really help our numbers. We need big numbers if we are going to make an impact.
I read we have 26,000 members -it would be something wonderful if everyone took 5 minutes to do this. At the very least, do it for yourself and your family. I don't want us to fail this effort.

I am trying to get I140 approval notice using FOIA G639 form. While filing this I have all the info but one section asks which document I am requesting and other info like location of that document.
How to know that. My I140 receipt and I1485 receipts start with SRC. Does this mean that I140 approval notice is also at Texas Service Center. With all the bi-specializaiton mess I forgot how things are now (where is I140 processed). If anyone have more thoughts please let me know.

Hi,
My H1(second term) expires in December 2009. I was out of the US for more than a year and resumed my job in jun 09. My employer will be filing for H1 extension in October 09.
I have an approved I-140.
If my H1 extension gets rejected, will that affect my green card process ? If H1 extension gets rejected and if I switch to EAD, will the H1 rejection affect green card processing ?
Please Help.

These are simple "skilled" visas, where an individual doesn't need any specialized training or education (other than two years of college). As such, the legislation would keep a half-million Americans out of work. Senate leadership is considering taking up the E-Verify reauthorization bill today before members depart for summer recess, so Senators are negotiating with Menendez in order to reach an accommodation.
Is there any direction from Members on this.
