Just need some suggestion:
I may be on the chopping block next week..
currently am on my 8th year H1, expires march 2010..so less than a year to restart..and be back in the line. (spouse on H1)
My 140 is pending...
so if i lose my job.. can i go to H4.. even though i have stayed here for more than 6 years..
and in case if i get job ...can i get back on H1 and restart GC?
i am thinking.. i have come to the end of all options.. and the only course available for me is back to desh..any inputs..will be appretiated..

Can I work with different employer without my sponsor company knowing about it? I have a EAD and I can change jobs(180 days is over). Now planning to start a company/to work on W2 with new company. I want to use the medical benefits from sponsor company(withought quitting the job).

I filed my 485 in August 2008 with new fee structure (one time fee for AP and EAD renewals). Now my AP is expiring in November 2009. Can any one who applied for AP renewal under the one time fee structure let me know how do I make use of that fee. I mean.. Can i just skip sending the check for $305?

Hi, we gat our GCs in aug 2008. My husband works for a Swiss bank in US. They are offering a promotion and move to Europe. If he accepts how will it affect our GC and eligibility for Citizenship in the future.

I need an advice.
I was in US since Apr 1999. FIled for GC in oct 2000. I got my I-140 approved.But then i had to go back to india as my company transferred me to india office in Oct 2001.
I left that company in jan 2004 and joined another company in india. Then in July 2004 i came back to US thru a consulting firm. An din jan 2005 my client offered a job. So since Jan 2005 i am working at the cients office as their employee. I filed for LC in Sep 2005, it got approved in oct 2005 (Just mised by 3 weeks)
My question is was was it possible to use the PD from my previous GC. which is Oct 2000.My atternoy told me it is not possible. But i saw similer posting on IV, hence i am curious. Also if possible is there any way i can get the old GC at this stage,my I-140 is approved this time too.,

Currently I�m holding h1 and same time has AOS with my existing employer. I�m continuing my employment based on h1 and use Advance parole for travel purpose. My employer mentioned about not revoking I-140, even if I move to new employer. Since with new client, I�m transferring my H1 visa, I have 2 options with regard to my AOS portability
1) Either just transfers my h1 without porting AOS with new client. Continue with my AOS with old employer, since he won�t revoke my I-140 and provide support for future employment.
2) H1 transfer and Porting my AOS with new client and it does require my job and description mentioned in I-140 matches with current offer.
I would really appreciate, if you provide your valuable suggestion/recommendation. The best option to go ahead with.

Hi, I was wondering how long it is going to take me to get my citizenship. I received my permanent residency when I was 17. I was told I could have gotten my citizenship then but since I married a military personnel I wasn't sure if I was still eligible. Can I get my citizenship now because I received my "green card" under age or would I still have to wait 3 years being married to a U.S Citizen? Can I get my citizenship faster being married to a military personnel?

I used to fedex EAD and AP applications etc to this Augustine Road address before. After introducing lock boxes, they changes the fedex address too.I am planning to submit AC21. I originally came here as an E2 dependant but my husband just walked out of his job and had his visa cancelled. My 1-94 is still valid but I am out of status due to reasons beyond my control. He is leaving to go to another country but I am desperate to stay here. As I am out of status, I can't apply for change of status but am scared that if I leave a re-apply for another visa I will be denied because I stayed here out of status..

Bottomline - if you are considering converting your LC case from TR to RIR, then your employer must send an email to DOL by Jan 20th and complete recrutiment process by April 1 ( or else case will be closed without recourse to appeal).
