You may be eligible. CIS usually requires 4 years of university-level education for a degree, or 3 years experience for every one year missing from a 4-year degree. An educational evaluator could say for certain if you have the equivalent of a US bachelor's degree.

Thanks to IV for making the multi year EAD/AP happen. Since USCIS might or might not announce this, I want to track when people start getting these multi year EAD/APs. Anyone in the IV community got one of these yet?

Guys I missed the conference call , But interested to know what happened &
if some key decisions made.
Called IV, But the person who answered was busy answering similar questions from other member.We don't want to waste precious time of IV leaders by calling indvidualy.
If someone who attended can summarize for the benifit of those who missed, It would be great.
Also does members of other nationalities(non Indians) also attended the conference call.. Hopefully IV is striving to become voice of all EB GC aspirants. Everyone will gain from joint effort and IV will have resources to do meaningful things.

Hi
My 485+140 is currently with my lawyers for filing.
In the meantime, my wife's dates went current. Her lawyer says it is ok to apply her 485 and it is preferred so we have a backup.
However, BCIS might get confused and ask us to pick one 485 at a later date - but the lawyer advises to file it now and face it later.
1) Has anyone does this?
2) Should my wife apply EAD and AP as well or just 485?
3) What are the problems I should expect?

I have a approved I-140 with company A. It is a substitute labor.
I am getting laid off end of the month and I have a new offer from company B.
Can I port priority date of this I-140 to new company B? Does porting work for substitute labor also?

Who is the best immigration attorney out there to deal with a cross-chargeability case? (Need to claim cross-chargeability based on Spouse's citizenship on an already filed I-485 case).
Any first hand experiences with attorneys like Rajeev Khanna, Murthy, Ron Gotcher etc?? Or is there anyone better (in terms of paying proper attention while filing & being reachable in case of any RFEs etc.,) out there?
