My H1 extension is under process. I had applied in Dec 2006. My DL expires on May 6. Is it possible to renew my license with the H1 extension receipt?. Is it possible to do Premium Processing now?

Hi my son is going to turn 21 on June 6th, we had applied for EB3 labor certificate on in July and the priority date is july 19, 2005. The I-140 was applied and approved in a month, therefore he will turn 21 next month on the 6th because the subtraction of one month from his age due to delay by USCIS in processing the I-140. My question is that is there any sort of help for EB retrogression for the children affected, and may get aged-out. As well as any other way that my son can apply for his I-485.

If you need solutions to your problems, you need to act professionallly as all other IV members do. Please stop throwing tantrums and also mind your P's and Q's when you utter expletives against USCIS. Will you be brave enough (if not foolhardy enough) to reproduce whatever you said here in a letter and send it out to the USCIS? Trust me, you'll not since you'd act politely and professionally to make out your case. We expect you to act with decorum when you discuss pertinent issues in IV forum.

Retrogress is against the principle of laws. Think about the reason that the government wants provide a path for these undocumented people is the government wants secure the border. Before the law take effective, they need find a way to take care of these people because new law can not have retrogress. Same should apply to the legal immigrants. When the new law is being discussed, it can not terminate or replace the current law. I don’t think people interpret the words correctly. I believe introduction means the period of time before the signed new law replaces the current one.
Law execution shall favor the executed person. I don’t know how to describe it in a professional matter. I give an example,
Person A is sentenced to death and will be executed on June 15th. However, new law takes effective on June 5, and according to new law Person A shall be sentenced 20 years in prison. So Person A can appeal to change the sentence.
On the other hand, Person A is sentenced to 10 years and will be executed on June 5th. But new law will take effective which gives 20 years in prison. So will the person get a severer penalty? I don’t think so.
In addition to that, when a new law is dramatically changed, compared to the current law, an introduction period is usually applied. During this period of time dual status may apply. People may choose either law which is favorable for them. Of course, because of the uncertainty, lawyers love this dual status to get more business.

What is wrong with bonded to 1 job type ? You file AC21 but job type should be similar. You cannot become a company's Vice president if your labor was for Programmer, why are you picking on things ? The guy sitting next to my cubicle is here more than 7 years, he's waiting for his 140, he's stuck with my employer while he wants to move since he has a 3 years degree than a masters, He was considered a EB-3 I. Don't you think he wants to know how many decades it will take for his dates to get current ?

We should not let Cornyn down due to this bill's failure. We have to send email and thank him for bringing up this bill eventhough it failed. This will keep up his spirit and make him feel that there are people behind him even if this bill failed. This will make him to pursue other amendments in favor of legal immigrants if at all there is a slight chance before this NOV.

Instead of hiring a full time lobbyist why dont we hire a full time manager who will contact IV members and drive funding drives , organize campaigns , send and spam USCIS with emails flowers and faxes and keep it moving. Heck may be we can even offshore and outsource it. Take a look at YourManInIndia (http://www.yourmaninindia.com/) . At 7$ per hour this wont take much. Lets take the help of our brothers and sisters in Inda to get GC .. let them help us while we help them..

Hi,
I applied for labor certification in Dec2004 .I got a 45 day letter 6 months back.My application in Philadelphia back log center.When i am seeing the status it is showing IN PROCESS.Can anyone tell me what will be the time frame after receiving 45 day letter.Intially i applied from FLORIDA.Can anyone tell me wat is current processing time.
