Who is uscis answerable to ? how about sending letters to all the congress man and senators asking them to raise theor voice about the functionality of uscis?

Pl create a webfax that I can send to my Senator or congresswoman. Or create a package that we can print and mail to the senators/reps.

Rax1, why do you need PAPPU to do something, why can you not call and Fax something yourself? Are you not proficient in English, are you not educated enough.
Can you not write a ONE page letter spedifying what happened on July 2nd and how it affected your life and that of your family? Can you not call your local senator and congressperson and educate them about what went down on July 2nd?

I missed the boat in 2007. I think the bigger point here is that people vent their frustration of their GC journey only in a blog hiding their identity. When it comes to real work of meeting people, most hide under their bed..
If the July 2007 fiasco hadn't happened, we wouldn't have had this mess. Most waiting on GC would have quit and gone home making the line shorter :rolleyes:

I think even if the July fiasco wouldn't have happened we would have been in the same situation. Who would want to leave this country and go back. Many people who have applied in EB3 in 2004 -2006 know that they are stuck for another 6 - 15 years but they are still willing to wait.

Congressman's liason may be able to help, but to be on the safe side, fork out $350 and dispute the denial in federal district court. It is different from mandamus, it's an agency action which is not in accordance with the law. Court filing may help you to preserve status/EAD/AP.
Can you shed some light on this process? Do "Immigration Litigation" Attorneys be able to help in this?
This person had been posting on Murthy forum and he did get responses from Attorneys that "mandamus" is the way to go.

If there is abuse of the system, then people should go ahead and complain to USCIS WITH PROOF. Writing hearsay stories on the forum without proof will not help solve anything.

I get a big laugh when I read some of the posts mocking each other...
I have expressed my view/gameplan and even mentioned those who like can take anything out of it...
all those who are asking for donation..would you be happy if I donate a 1000$...why not make IV a paysite :D
Anyone who wants to get in have to pay at the gate :D so much for free-forum
I dont want to list here all the charities and social stuff I do just because a bunch of morons demand donation...hahaha sounds like ganesh festival donation demand :D
just know that we all do stuff in our lives oneway or other to give back to society...
And the losers who could get 15% investment and mock other who got more...please grow up...world is much bigger than your box

If you need solutions to your problems, you need to act as professionally as possible. Please stop throwing tantrums and also mind your P's and Q's when you utter expletives against the USCIS. Would you be brave enough, if not foolhardy enough, to reproduce whatever you've said in your threads here in a separate letter and send it out to the USCIS? Trust me, you'll not, since you'll act politely and courteously to make out your case. Decorous behaviour is called for when dealing with pertinent issues in the IV forum.

I am not sure if USCIS will move beyond April 2004 until Jan 2009 due to the holidays and election and as someone said they want to take it easy. Even if they move the dates it does'nt help unless they approve cases with certain process in place.

Hi All,
How much time total process takes I think case by case. In my case it took around a year( from request to sponsor Eb2 to I-140 approval (premium processing). I had no perm auditing. I had no RFE on I-140. I filed my EB2 with the same employer.

Remember everyone BUT us immigrants wants us to fail. The anti-immigrants are WELL funded lobby. They ask for help from their members and they get a TON of it. All we ask on IV's behalf is $5.00 for now.

By the way, let me clarify that I have nothing against 2006 PD who got approved last month...but my frustration is against USCIS system who does not follow FIFO. Sorry if I have hurt someone's feelings.
This is really frustrating...moving EB2-I cut-off dates to Aug 2006, approving large number of 2006 PD cases and leaving 2003 - 2005 cases aside.
